Loic Moisand CEO and Co-founder
Loic co-founded Synthesio in 2006 with the original idea of providing marketing and communication departments with monitoring and analytics services tailored for the web. Under his leadership, Synthesio has achieved record breaking growth in revenue and clientele every year since its founding, and opened offices in both the United States and the United Kingdom in 2010 to keep up with growing demand worldwide. Loic holds an MBA from ESSEC Business School, Paris.
Loic is an international speaker at social media conferences and events in Europe and the U.S. (Social Media Summit, TechtocTV, Buzz Marketing Vienna, etc.), but when the speaking engagements are done, there’s a good chance you’ll find him skiing with his wife in the French Alps or travelling the world on his latest adventure.
Thibault Hanin CTO and Co-founder
Thibault has over 10 years experience in web monitoring and crawling. As CTO of Synthesio, he is truly the brain behind Synthesio’s magic, driving major innovations (recognized by the French Ministry of Research and Development) such as multilingual information retrieval, automated content extraction, data visualization, influencer analytics, and natural language processing. Thibault holds a MSc in Computer Science from INSA Lyon and a MBA from ESSEC Business School Paris.
Ben FarkasU.S. Managing Director
Ben has over 8 years’ experience in digital media, and is an expert in interactive marketing and social media. Having worked on engaging campaigns for global clients such as Verizon Wireless, E*Trade, Purina, GlaxoSmithKline, Bayer Healthcare, Heineken, vitaminwater and many more, he understands the importance of monitoring and engaging with consumers to maintain a brand’s positive online reputation. Ben is in charge of growing and maintaining a portfolio of key accounts, developing Synthesio’s presence in the U.S, and adapting their offerings to fit U.S. demand as part of our global development strategy.
Catriona Oldershaw Managing Director UK
Catriona joined Synthesio in 2010 and has since spearheaded the growth of the UK office. Her areas of expertise include best practice strategies for embedding Social Intelligence across large global organizations, and the use of social media monitoring to drive innovation. Catriona’s background includes new business development and client services roles at integrated digital marketing agency, Metia, and senior in-house marketing roles at AvantGo and New Zealand’s Telecom Mobile.
Thomas Le Gac France Managing Director
Thomas spent 15 years at Orange Telecommunications before joining Synthesio as France Managing Director. During his time as Head of Customer Service 2.0 at Orange and Sosh, he developed an unparalleled expertise in Social CRM and an intimate knowledge of our Unity platform which he now channels into the commercial development of our products. Thomas holds a Masters degree in Industrial Economy and Human Resources from Université des Sciences et Technologies de Lille.
Leah Pope VP, Global Marketing
Leah is responsible for leading all strategic marketing activities at Synthesio including branding, positioning, product marketing, communications, go-to-market strategy, and all aspects of demand generation. Prior to joining Synthesio, Leah served as Director of Global Marketing for Lombardi Software (acquired by IBM), where she was responsible for all aspects of Lombardi’s worldwide strategic and tactical marketing. During her tenure, she built the global marketing strategy and team, and helped guide the growth of the company through its acquisition by IBM. Leah has more that 10 years experience successfully delivering software products and services to market. Leah has held positions of Worldwide Marketing Management at IBM, Lombardi Software, and Inquisite.
Oliver LewisDirector, Synthesio Services
Oliver leads the teams that delivers all elements of service delivery for clients, including set up, training, account management, insights delivery and research-based elements of Synthesio's professional services offering.
Oliver joined Synthesio in 2011 from his role as Head of Social Media Evaluation at Aevolve (part of Aegis Media Group). He has 13 years of qualitative and quantitative marketing analysis experience, gained with TNS, Guardian News & Media and Aegis. His last 5 years have been focused on social media analytics. Oliver’s team is now working with a number of Synthesio clients on Big Data projects, investigating ways of fusing social with other data sources, while developing methodologies and frameworks to answer strategic business and insight objectives.
